All the Way to the Ocean
Joel was eager to work together with young people to combat the disturbing problem of litter and other forms of pollution entering waterways and ending up in our oceans and seas. Since the books release in February 2006, Freedom Three Publishing, in partnership with SOSF have distributed close to 20,000 books in English, 2,200 in Spanish and 1,200 copies in Chinese.
The book has gone on to win several awards including: the Santa Monica Public Library Green Prize for Sustainable Literature 2007 - Winner Youth Honorable Mention, and The Green Earth Awards' Honor Book.
