Dragon boating is an ancient Chinese water sport firmly rooted in myth and tradition. It started more than 2,000 years ago as a fertility rite in southern China that celebrated the coming solstice by awakening the slumbering Heavenly Dragon through the fury of their oars.
Shark Truth made waves of its own that weekend with our concert stage adjacent information booth. We dazzled dragon boat fans with the latest in foldable Harry the Shark cutout technology, stupefied contestants with our dastardly educational quiz game, and buttoned Vancouver yellow with Harry’s handsome new and revolutionary medium, the Shark Truth button.

A grouping of sharks can be referred to as a shiver, but a grouping of Harry the shark buttons, a school of shivering Harrys.
One lucky new initiate to Harry’s adoring public, via our fantastically informative newsletter, won a diving package courtesy of Edge Diving.
Thank you for energizing us to continue to Stop The Soup, we can’t wait to see everyone again. Keep an eye out for us during Shark Week coming the first week of August.
