When a Shark is searching for his dinner,

He ponders a little on the menu of the day.

He doesn’t really want to get any thinner,

Seal or fish, he’ll find a meal anyway.

Swimming around in the ocean so blue,

He might come across a diver way down deep.

He won’t set out to eat me or eat you

But he might think the diver is a seal with feet.

When his hunger is yelling out loud in his mind,

He only thinks about food and searches around.

When he sees something that seems a good find

He’ll gobble it up with never a mind.

So when you go swimming with sharks in the sea,

Be careful to think of his hungry tummy.

Don’t dress with flippers or look like a seal.

Don’t look like a fish or a meal so yummy.

Wear bright colours and don’t flap around

And remember you are visiting the shark’s home ground.

Respect his space and his enormous might

And if he comes close to you, don´t start a fight.

Tell your mind to be calm and remember his plight.

He’s looking for dinner but not for a fight.

Stay calm and peaceful and watch him swim,

The mighty guy who will always win.
