It's been a very busy few months for everybody here at the Save Our Seas Foundation, with a surf film festival, a Panda Award, and singing pirates all becoming involved in the Foundation's work to protect our oceans.

"SEAS THE DAY" FILM COMPETITION
SOSF has launched an exciting short film competition to coincide with the Jackson Hole Film Festival. "Seas The Day" is open to all film makers who can get the marine conservation message "out there", in a short, smart, and innovative way. For full competition details click here.

WAVESCAPES SURF FILM SUCCESS
With the support of SOSF, The Wavescapes Surf Film Festival took place in Cape Town, South Africa during December, 2008. As well as bringing surfers and shark conservation together, the festival also screened the world's best surf films and showed them in one of the planet's most stunning outdoor settings. SOSF SUPPORTS BASKING SHARK WORKSHOP The foundation announced that in August 2009 it was to support a workshop on the Isle of Man addressing the global ecology and conservation status of the basking shark. Find out more and register for the workshop here.
