SOSF supported the unique Sisbro Studios in making this half hour film about the way in which all life on Earth is connected through water.
In the film, “The Riddle Solvers” played by Sisbro’s founders, Laura & Robert Sams, attempt to solve a problem presented to them by a message in a magic bottle. As they attempt to solve the riddle they are assisted by different underwater creatures and places who send them help in the form of clues contained in the bottle.
The clues come from a sea turtle drifting with the currents, the daily turn of the tides by the seaside, and a freshwater pond that needs the rain to survive. At the end of their quest The Riddle Solvers are assisted by a one-legged pirate, who serenades them with a song, eventually leading them to the answer they’ve been seeking.
Through humour, imagination, music and amazing visuals, Laura and Robert manage to engage with young children and convey a sense what it is liked to be connected to the world’s water.

Riddle in a Bottle recently won the award for Best Children's Program at the International Wildlife Film Festival, 2009. It has also been announced that SOSF is to support the production of a new episode in the Riddle in a Bottle series focusing on sharks.
