Tom Campbell is one of the most experienced marine cinematographers in the world today, with over 30 years experience of shooting in almost every underwater environment known.

His diving career spans nearly 50 years, including 6 years as a professional military diver with the elite Force Reconnaissance Marines assigned to Seal Team One’s covert operations in Vietnam. A decorated career as a California Highway Patrol officer followed in which Tom was honored to be part of President Reagan’s personal security detail. During his off time and upon retirement from the CHP, Tom built up globally recognized still photography and motion picture businesses, traveling the world on expeditions and assignments, teaching seminars, and speaking at conferences.

His still photos have been featured in more than 80 magazine covers and he’s published hundreds of articles showcasing his award-winning images. As a cinematographer, Tom is highly sought after, working with the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, and the History Channel amongst others. Having built up a huge experience using high definition camera systems, he has run numerous HD workshops, and has been a cameraman, producer, & director of photography on countless projects including: Face to face with the Great White Shark, Asian Enigma & Ocean Realms.
